What if a multi-layered NFT artwork could be collectively minted by different artists on several platforms?
The Meta Project could easily become mainstream as the most relevant collective artistic experience in the NFT space.
Meta-artists. Meta-platforms. Meta-currents. Meta-currencies. Rewarding for artists, platforms and collectors.
THE FIRST ARTWORK: “THE METASCREAM”.
Each series will be connected to human emotions.
The first one, “The MetaScream”, will be born of “The Scream” by Edvard Munch, a timelessly iconic masterpiece that express internal emotions through external forms and thereby providing a visual image for a universal human experience.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
8 layers of “The MetaScream” will be progressively minted. They are combinable each other.
Layer Zero is the common background for all of them.
A collector will choose to get one or more layers, by one or more involved artists, keeping them separated or joining layers on each other in a preferred order, thus creating a new artwork with them: the collector’s vision of “The MetaScream”.
As the whole artwork is composed of 8 layers (+ Layer Zero as optional background) and each layer can be placed in a preferred position, there will be more than 16+ million possible combinations, meaning that each collector will potentially have a very unique piece of art.
All possible combinations, however, could be in the hands of no more than 8 collectors, as each Layer will be 1/1 edition (except for Layer Zero: Background. There will be minted 8 to give each collector the opportunity to merge it).
Each layer will reflect personality of involved artists. And, each layer will be a mirror of collectors’ tastes.
“The MetaScream” will be the first series. More to come and more implementations will be added in future.
HOW TO TAKE PART IN IT?
If you’re a collector, simply follow @MetaP_Metaverse on Twitter to be updated on release dates. Be an attentive observer of main (and underground, too) NFT marketplaces, as each series’ layers won’t be minted on one platform only!
Application for artists is now open. It will last until the 88 “The MetaScream” Working Layer picture editions on Hic et Nunc and the 88 “The MetaScream Working Layer video editions on OpenSea will remain available.
